Reverend Dr. David Schrader

Pastor David has been serving churches in Northern Indiana and the Chicago area since 1980. A graduate of Indiana University and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, Pastor David holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree from the Graduate Theological Foundation’s foreign exchange program at Oxford University. He is also one of the co-founders and the current President of the Board of Directors of Children of Abraham, an inter-faith medical relief organization that has shipped millions of dollars of American surplus medical supplies to free clinics and hospitals in 29 countries. Prior to coming to Grace Church as our Senior Pastor, David was the Superintendent of the United Methodist congregations of Northwest Indiana. He and his wife, Pamela, have been married since 1977 and have two grown children. Pastor David believes that the saving grace of Jesus Christ leads to countless unexpected blessings that can bring purpose and fulfillment to one’s life. Reverend Lauren Hall

Lauren graduated from Virginia Tech University and Saint Paul School of Theology and holds an undergraduate degree in English Education and a Master of Divinity. Before coming to Grace as the Associate Pastor, Pastor Lauren served as a Youth Pastor in her home church in North Webster, IN and also at Broadway UMC in Kansas City, MO. Prior to her graduation from seminary, Lauren spent many years working in YMCA Camping, developing Christian programs for children and youth. She currently serves part-time at Grace, providing leadership for our youth, children's and missions ministries, and leads worship at Southlawn. She has one daughter, Rowynn, who is an absolute delight, and, second only to God’s grace and salvation offered through Jesus Christ, is the greatest blessing God has given her. Lauren believes that the grace and love of Christ is personally experienced through embodied Christianity, and therefore our faith is demonstrated through our words and our actions. Reverend Dr. Joe Baunoch

Dr. Joe is the Counseling Pastor at Grace Church. His more than thirty years of pastoral and clinical counseling experience provides a significant depth to draw from in counseling service. Dr. Baunoch’s education includes an undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville, a Master of Divinity from United Theological Seminary, a Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling from Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, and Post Doctoral Education at the Chicago Center for Family Health, an Affiliate of the University of Chicago.
