"Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom
and curing every disease and every sickness among the people." (Matthew 4:23)
Pilgrimage Healing Process
Pilgrimage Healing is a "hands on" healing process developed by an Episcopal priest, Tanya Beck. Two trained healing
partners open themselves to God's healing power and go through a series of prayers and movements allowing God's
love to flow into you, while you are relaxing on a massage table. Anyone experiencing physical, emotional or
spiritual pain or those wanting to more fully experience God's love and peace are invited to come. Simply
make an appointment. If it makes you feel more comfortable, you may bring family members or friends to pray during your session.
In a Pilgrimage session, the participants ask God for whatever mental, spiritual or physical healing the person is needing.
The healing touch and prayer used in these sessions can relieve stress, tension and fatigue and frequently reduces or eliminates
symptoms associated with these conditions. The sessions can re-energize and relax persons to enable their own natural
resources to deal with illness or injury. Changes in attitude and the quality of life often follow the work begun
in these sessions.
Healing Partners work primarily in the facilities at Grace Church but have also served in nursing homes, retirement homes,
hospitals, and hospices. These services are not a substitute for medical care, but complement such care.
Healing Partners are available for demonstrations of the Pilgrimage Process to other churches upon request.
To schedule Healing Sessions, contact Ruth Pavich, pavich@michiana.org or leave a message at the church office 574-288-4789.
The Pilgrimage Process is a healing ministry of love. There is no charge for healing sessions. Donations are
gratefully accepted. Your donation supports the work of Grace Church and the Healing Partners.
