The United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, as well as to develop a creative and supportive fellowship. To further expand concepts of mission, UMW participates in global ministries of the church.

UMW meets on the first Thursday of the month at noon.

UMW consists of three smaller groups of women:

• Mission Circle is a group with a mission emphasis. This group meets the third Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Contact either Carol Ritsema, (574) 291-6717, or Margaret Jackson, (574) 288-1371, for more information.
• Timely Topics focuses on current events. It meets on the third Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Contact Lois Messersmith at (574) 291-1717 for more information.
• Graceful Friends consists of mainly working women. These women meet the third Wednesday at 7 p.m. For more information contact Carol Fox at (574) 291-6782.
