Youth Ministries

Teenagers at Grace UMC participate in ministries and programs that challenge them to explore how their faith connects with their everyday lives. Our Youth Program builds a sense of community that helps to foster friendships and encourages spiritual development. Whether participating in a Sunday School Bible Study, a midweek Discussion Topic, a Weekend Event, or a Summer Mission Trip, youth at Grace deepen their faith through hands-on experiences, prayer and worship.

Youth Ministry at Grace includes students in seventh through twelfth grade. Once a month we offer a Contemporary Worship Service with Communion and a sermon preached by one of our pastors. Within each service we hear, learn and tell the story of God, his people and Creation. Sermons target the particular issues that youth and young adults struggle with and are designed to touch the lives of people of all ages. We welcome and encourage participation by families and adults.

Our Youth Directors, Ben and Jamie Marlatt, work together to provide a dynamic ministry that reaches out to youth throughout South Bend.
